Description:

Telnov – AT Tablets : Telmisartan and amlodipine tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypertension, Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions.

Uses:
  • To treat high blood pressure (hypertension)
  • Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems
 
Precautions:
  1. If you are allergic to amlodipine (Norvasc) or telmisartan (Micardis). 
  2. If you have diabetes, do not use amlodipine and telmisartan together with any medication that contains aliskiren (a blood pressure medicine). Tell your doctor if you have ever had:
    kidney disease (or if you are on dialysis); liver disease; heart disease                     
 
Side Effects:
  • Dizziness 
  • Swelling 
  • Do not take if  pregnant
