Novcef-CV/200/125mg It is used to  treat various types of bacterial infections.

 
Mechanism of Action:
  • Cefixime controls the growth of bacteria and kills them by inhibiting the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall.
  • Potassium Clavulanate (also called Clavulanic acid) inactivates this enzyme. This helps cefixime to function optimally.
 
Uses: It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria.
